Albert Halls wedding photographer

Albert Halls Bolton wedding photographer: A wedding day story in pictures from Deborah and Davids wedding celebrations at Boltons Albert Halls.

Hi I am Simon a Manchester wedding photographer. I first meet this lovely couple from Bolton last year when they booked me as there wedding photographer. Following this a engagement shoot at Castlefield Manchester, where Deborah told me all about the planed wedding reception at newly renovated Albert Halls. Right in the heart of the Lancashire town of Bolton. The Albert Halls was built in 1873 hosting concerts, weddings and grand exhibitions. A fire started and destroyed the building on 14th of November 1981. As a result, Deborah proudly told me she was the first to book Albert Halls for her wedding reception after the fire renovations.

Wedding Day photography started in Victoria Square Bolton

I started my photography in the centre of  Victoria Square outside Albert Halls. It was a bank holiday weekend in August. The Bolton Civic square was alive. Because a huge festival of food was setup right outside Albert Halls. The wedding car journey for the newly weds would be fun later.  Albert Halls was right in the centre of the Bolton Festival. Thats why I do like to check the photographic locations of the wedding before I meet my Bride and Groom on the wedding day. Incase it brings any location surprises with light, shade, access.

Ceremony very near Albert Halls at Bolton Parish Church

Deborah and David had planned their wedding in Bolton to the last detail. This Lancashire couple tied the knot at St Peters Church Bolton-le-Moors. So close to the Albert Halls you could throw the bridal bouquet there. The 6 bridesmaids traveled to the ceremony in a wedding car provided by Limo-scene wedding cars. Wedding guests in smart attire, Ladies in fascinators and hats. The gents in blue lounge suits all to mark the couples day.  Deborah arrived in a white wedding gown highlighted by the bright Bolton sunshine. The Vicar of St Peters Church greeted the bride and her father outside.  Nervous David the groom waited inside the church on the hill above the river Croal. Lancashires tallest Parish church built out of Ashlar sandstone with a slate roof.  The 55 meter high tower can be seen clearly from Albert Halls.

Laudaulette Wedding Car to Albert Halls

The newly weds journey in a Laudaulette wedding car to Albert Halls. After the ceremony the couple emerged into the bright sunshine, natural photos taken, nothing posed or staged in anyway. I just observe capturing moments that build into a photographic wedding story of your day without interruptions. The family and friends greeted the new Mr & Mrs congratulations all round, I shot lots of photographic images, hugs, kisses stored on the cameras memory card destined for the editing suite and final wedding gallery. The wedding car took the bridesmaids to Albert Halls. Returning for Deborah and David  proud owners of a new marriage certificate. I took some relaxed unposed photos of the couple in church grounds as they waited for their limo to transport them to Victoria square and a party in the Lancaster suite.

Wedding breakfast and Disco

Champagne was on ice waiting for the newly weds to arrive at Victoria Square; Albert Halls.  Most of the wedding party had walked to the wedding breakfast. Because Victoria Square was so close to The Bolton Parish Church. Here the party got into full swing in the Lancaster suite and Festival Hall at Albert Halls. The Best mans speech, Father of the brides speech all brought tears of joy and happiness for the new couple. The cake cutting, followed the couples first dance. DJ mashing records in the disco for everyone to dance the night away.

We would highly recommend Simon as  a photographer he did exactly what we asked and the results were stunning and natural and we loved the pictures not staged in any way and he captured everything that happened on our magical day from beginning to end. This is the way a special day should be photographed.
